Hello! I’m writing this short post just to let you know the latest news from the Talking Typist, including plans for workshops, drop in demonstrations and training and support packages.
Once the summer is over, I will be organising more drop in demonstrations such as that at the Witney Business Innovation Centre. This went well and generated plenty of interest and I’m keen to run them again at the same location, and other similar locations throughout Oxfordshire. Please let me know if you would like me to visit you!
I’m also hoping to have a trial of a group training session of no more than five people to hep you reduce your costs. Sessions will be for people who are new to voice recognition, and those who have tried it but may have some problems – there is no reason why it should not work for you!
In line with this, I will be introducing a troubleshooting service – if your Dragon is not working, I am happy to visit and try to resolve the problems – no fix, no charge!
Finally, I will be introducing some support packages. The Gold package will include a replacement microphone if yours should fail, and new versions of the software will be provided, complete with installation and training for any new features. This is included in the package!
